It’s a flying start to 2024 for the DALPEST Pest Solutions team! Starting as we mean to go on this year, and in a similar fashion to previous years, we are celebrating the start of a brand new recruit.
The latest addition to the growing team is Philip Day, joining DALPEST as our new Trainee Pest Technician.
Philip joins the dedicated band of DALPEST technicians and will be working towards his RSPH Level 2 certification in Pest Management while also learning on the job.
Richard Offer who has been with DALPEST for almost two years now will be supporting him in his training journey and showing him the ropes.
The training for our pest technicians is a great balance of theory mixed with practical studies, and the best way to learn how to tackle pesky pests is by learning on the job. This style of training is really beneficial to the new recruits as they can get stuck in with certain tasks straight away.

We also need to extend a huge and well deserved congratulations to Chris Young for passing his Level 2 exam which he sat just before Christmas. Chris has been working and studying hard throughout 2023 to achieve this and it is a big accomplishment.
The development of the whole team is really important to everyone at DALPEST and as the business grows so too should the skillset that we have.
Over the past couple of years we have begun to offer a range of new services including swarm collections for bees and more recently we have branched out into more Environmental Cleaning alongside our pest control. The two go firmly hand in hand, and this has helped to not only make us more prominent in the local area, but also to expand our service offering to our customers, something we are very proud of.
