This can only mean one thing, the emergence of wasps!
The peak season for wasps is during the hottest summer months, however at this time of the year they are beginning to start building their nests, so it’s good to be aware early of the signs.
Wasps can be a little misunderstood by the public, they are fascinating creatures and amazing architects, however they can also be highly aggressive if they feel threatened and many people are scared of the painful sting they can administer. This fear is only natural and it is the terror of seeing many of these insects buzzing around a nest which causes panic and apprehension.
You may find a wasps nest at home or potentially at your business. If you are a business owner then it is your responsibility to get it removed. Unfortunately, pests such as wasps will be a deterrent to your customers, and they may look unfavourably upon your business as a result, also no one wants their customers to potentially be stung!

- Under eaves – wasp nests can also be external to a property, small gaps and spaces under eaves and windows are another popular choice for wasps.
Remember not to confuse bees with wasps.
People make the mistake of confusing a bee swarm for a wasps nest all the time because they see lots of insects in one place and make an assumption that they know what they are.
